Tygh Valley Rodeo (Saturday Performance), is in the evening and without proper lighting is hard to shoot .I don’t usually shoot evening Rodeos because of that, I shoot till I run out of light ,but for Arena shots you can checkout Alex McCreary’s site (Border Line Photography http://www.borderline.dns2go.com/ he is setup for night contestant arena shots.
The Warm Springs Indian Dancers put on a good show for the crowds.
I Have dedicated a large portion of this Gallery to The Ropers in and around the Box, and the people that coach and push calves ,and there reactions and sharp focus of the Roper right before the nod to release the calf.
