Pendleton Round ' Up Wednesday performance 2013
Round up is always great to shoot, you never know what you are going to see that will make a photo, there is cool stuff going on all around us, we are just to busy sometimes to see it and to let it soak in. When I get to Round Up I park on the North side by the High school and Cross the Bridge and in through the contestants gate into the hustle and bustle of the competitors staging area, on my walk to the Arena I hope through my photos, I show you images that are behind the scenes and most people don’t have the opportunity to see, and the people that compete may be to focused on Rodeo to take a minute to take it all in, I walk by Rodeo kids playing and roping a metal steer, Barber cutting hair, a photographer at a table selling his latest shots. And horseshoers, there must be half dozen or more sweating up a storm as contestants have there horse shoes changed over to ice shoes to get a little better grip in the grass arena.
